The 7th International Congress on Love and Sex with Robots will be a virtual conference, held online with Zoom, on November 18-20, 2022.

We welcome the submission of full papers and abstracts for individual presentations, panels, workshops (synchronous), posters, brief communications, and data blitzes (asynchronous) on any of the following topics:

SUBMISSIONS

Submission of Abstracts

Abstracts for synchronous individual presentations should not exceed 500 words and they should include three to five keywords.​

Abstracts for synchronous panel proposals and workshops should include a general description which should not exceed 200 words.​

Abstracts for asynchronous poster presentations, brief communications, and data blitzes should not exceed 250 words and they should include three to five keywords.​

Important dates and submission procedures:​

  • Abstract submission deadline: August 31, 2022, 23:59 EST

  • Acceptance notification: October 15, 2022

  • Submission of full papers for presentation: November 10, 2022, 23:59 EST

  • Submission of final version for publication: February 28, 2023

The proceedings will be published in 2022 in a Special Issue on Love and Sex with Robots in the Journal of Future Robot Life

Important

All paper and poster presenters must register for the conference!

Publication in a peer-reviewed journal:

  • According to the journal’s standards, the submitted papers will undergo the standard peer-review process before they can be accepted for publication. Notification of acceptance will be communicated to the authors as the publisher progresses with the review process. The final decision (whether a given paper can be accepted or not) will depend on reviewers’ recommendations.

  • Research papers require at least two comprehensive reports provided by external reviewers. In other words, all submitted manuscripts will be fully peer-reviewed and accepted papers will be published in the thematic special issue. ​

  • Full details of the format for submission of the publication versions of papers, together with details of the appropriate template etc., and the IOS Press submission process, will be notified to authors in due course.
