According to the journal’s standards, the submitted papers will undergo the standard peer-review process before they can be accepted for publication. Notification of acceptance will be communicated to the authors as the publisher progresses with the review process. The final decision (whether a given paper can be accepted or not) will depend on reviewers’ recommendations.
Research papers require at least two comprehensive reports provided by external reviewers. In other words, all submitted manuscripts will be fully peer-reviewed and accepted papers will be published in the thematic special issue.
Full details of the format for submission of the publication versions of papers, together with details of the appropriate template etc., and the IOS Press submission process, will be notified to authors in due course.
